Concerning the writer's recent success in bringing England back to communion with Tome. Pole comments on the manner in which agreement was reached and records a meeting with the King & Queen at which the project of sending an ambassador to Rome was discussed. He forsees a long & difficult task ahead in eradicating the abuses and disorders which have arisen since the break, and mentions a meeting he is to hold with the bishops. Pole closes with assurances that he is adjusting with the King the matter concerning the church at Navarre, about which Morone had appealed for assistance.
