Carl Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig (b. December, 29 1816, Witzenhausen, Germany–d. April 23 1895, Leipzig, Germany) was a German physician and physiologist. In 1865 he jointed the faculty at the University of Leipzig and developed there the Physiological Institute.
