Autograph petition signed : Southbeamfleet [in the diocese of Lincoln], to the Bishop of Lincoln [John Williams], undated [1621-1641].

Petitioning the Bishop to take action against a farmer of the parsonage of Southbeamfleet, who refuses to pay his tithe "Except ... it be recovered by force of Lawe." With an autograph note signed by John Williams, Bishop of Lincoln, asking the farmer to pay the tithe, and to "show cause" for his actions.
