Autograph letter signed, dated : [n.p., Paris?], 14 May 1884, to [the editor of the Gaulois?], 1884 May 14.

Saying that an article was published in the Gaulois linking his name with Mme Weldon's, that the article infuriated him, asking that the present letter be published the next day, adding that it is shameful that French newspapers should be the carriers of such unkindness toward him, etc.
