Expressing regret that she could not reply sooner but she had begun negotiations with several parties, also with America, and wanted to consider which would be most suitable to her financial and personal interests, saying she is greatly attracted by Italy, asking for information regarding offers there, suggesting appearances in [Verdi's] Trovatore, Traviata, Rigoletto, etc.
