Suggesting a price for his Etudes of 600 francs, not 900, saying that they are dedicated to his wife, Rosa, and asking Lucca to remember that when she makes up the Italian title page, saying that Brandus, who allowed Wessel to put his firm's name on the German edition and who did not know that Lucca would engrave the other half of the work, has asked Wessel to relinquish the rights for France and Belgium, etc.
