Thanking him for the concern he took in Mme Debussy's health, saying that Messager leaves on Saturday for London, that he has written to Luquin asking to meet the following week, writing [from London] that "Notre vie est un espèce de calvaire fait de répétitions ou je tache de défendre Pélléas le mieux qu'il m'est possible," saying that Campanini has pleasantly surprised him--"Il a l'air de comprendre"--, discussing the rehearsal schedule--they must do the work of a month in three days--and the problems of dealing with directors, mentioning a producer named Alomanz , etc.
