Saying that he has again begun to work "comme un fou," that they are leading a tranquil life thanks to the ingenious will of his wife, that she suffered from headaches and pains in her eyes, that he read in the papers of the obstinacy of a certain regiment in requesting clarinets in B♭, "que l'on peut être assuré du besoin d'un peu de musique en France," etc.
