Letters, notes and memos relating to a variety of matters. Subjects discussed include: a request by the Board of School Trustees (Campbellton, N.B.) to name the new elementary school after Lord Beaverbrook and for a photograph of Beaverbrook to be hung in the school; confusion surrounding R.A. Tweedie's resignation as Beaverbrook Art Gallery secretary and the appointment of Miss Helen Savage to the position; rumours that Beaverbrook is to obtain an Epstein; response to gallery advertising on Dali's "Santiago El Grande"; the awarding and payment of scholarships (including the new Geology scholarships at UNB) from the Sir James Dunn Foundation; the UNB nursing programme; retired Presbyterian minister's pesion fund payments and the possibility of charging UNB and other agencies for use of the Lady Beaverbrook Rink. The file also contains a sketch of a couch owned by Rev. William Henderson and accountings of various trust funds managed by Tweedie.
