Letters, soundscribers, memos, newspaper clippings and photographs relating to the Lady Dunn International Exhibition of amateur Art to be held at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery July 1, 1961. Contents include names of those requesting entry forms and submitting works; letters to and lists of those whose works were accepted, including dimensions and suggested sale price. Copies of the exhibition catalogue, regulations for entrants, packing list of works returned to Britain and photographs taken during the showing are included. Along with some discussion of the selection process, exhibition arrangements and a review of the exhibit from the Montreal Gazette is the list of prize winners: Mrs. F. DeVletter (1st, 1,000 dollars), Miss Philippa Webb (2nd, 500 dollars) and L.G.W. Sealey (3rd, 300 dollars) and J.W. Wyers (4th, 200 dollars). An alphabetical list of entrants is filed in folder 5a.
