Letters, soundscriber tapes and telegrams about the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and Beaverbrook Foundation finances and installing a burglar alarm for the gallery. There are minutes of the gallery's Board of Governors meetings discussing a Canadian Painters Exhibition and establishment of a Friends of the Gallery organization. Also included is a history of the garden furniture in the Square in Newcastle, and the benches in the gallery, prepared by Sheila Elton.
