Lecture on folk medicine by Wilbert C. Jordan, medical doctor and sixth generation voodoo priest, whose father was considered the most powerful voodoo practitioner in the U.S. during his lifetime. The lecture was given to the Student National Medicine Association. Topics include Jordan's personal experiences, basic information about voodoo ceremony, herbal medicine, and the spiritual foundations of voodoo beliefs.

Christopher "Kip" Lornell and Charles Stephenson are the authors of the book, The beat: go-go's fusion of funk and hip-hop (2001). Lornell is an ethnomusicologist, and a professor in The George Washington University's Department of Music. Stephenson is a cultural and political activist in Washington, D.C., and a strong advocate for go-go music.
