Collection of oil related images from northwestern North Dakota showing many aspects of oil exploration and production. Over half the images appear in special issues of the Fargo forum of January 4, 1953 and January 10, 1954. Of special note is a photo of the A.C. Townley oil well at Robinson, N.D. and stills from the documentary film, American frontier, issued by the Oil Industry Information Committee.
