Collection reflects the history and organization of the New Orleans District Nurses' Association as well as the activities of the Louisiana State Organization for Public Health Nursing and the National Organization for Public Health Nursing. Records consist of correspondence, membership lists, financial papers, reports, and minutes of annual, executive and general meetings. Printed material contains photographs, bylaws, constitutions, and material distributed by state and national organizations. Volumes include scrapbooks, minute books, letter file book, and early directories (1904-1917, n.d.).
