Letters to his father, 1883-1886.

The collection consists of two letters of John Marshall Slaton to his father, Major William Franklin Slaton, dated 1883 and 1886. The former is a typescript telling of his arrival in Athens (Ga.) to attend the University of Georgia and describes his living arrangements and dormitories at the University. The latter also contains University information.
