The collection contains approximately 300 black-and-white photographs made by Jack Householder from 1920-1981. They are mostly of Marion County, with a few exceptions of Lawrence and Hamilton County subjects. They include buildings, Monument Circle, aerial views of Indianapolis and surrounding areas, Central State Hospital, businesses, construction sites, street scenes, fires, L.S. Ayres downtown store, and the Charles Mayer & Company store.

2 boxes of photographs, 2 boxes of 4x5 acetate negatives, 2 envelopes of 35mm acetate negatives.
