Frank family papers, 1863-1865 [manuscript].

Civil War letters of Theophilus Frank of Davidson County, N.C., a member of the 48th North Carolina Regiment; his wife, Elizabeth; his brother, John M. Frank; John's wife, Lovina Hedrick [sic] [Headrick]: her brother, Jefferson Hedrick [sic] [Headrick]; and John's nephew, Jessie M. Frank. Theophilus Frank's letters describe camp life while he was serving in North Carolina and northern Virginia, and discuss the Petersburg campaign and desertion. Other correspondents comment on civilian affairs in Davidson County, N.C.
