This series contains the official meeting minutes for meetings of the Board of Trustees at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute. The minutes are typed in narrative form and summarize the reports presented at the meetings by the Director, the President of the Board of Trustees, and various committees. The minutes also record votes taken at the meetings on issues such as loans, budgets, and acquisitions. There are typically several meetings for each year including the annual meeting and special meetings. The first volume of records also includes founding documents of the museum such as the articles of organization, an agreement of association, and early tax materials.
