Album of photographs documenting the activities of the Franklin High School Forestry Club in Portland, Or. Though the club was founded in fall 1943, the photographs date from 1940-1945 and depict the summer work that club members did for various forest conservation agencies in the Rogue River, Siskiyou and Umpqua National Forests, including blister rust control, redwood suppression, fire suppression, and fire lookout duties. Includes photographs of forest scenery, work camps, pack trails, and lookout towers such as Checto Peak Lookout, Kelsay Valley Point Lookout, and Twin Lake Lookout. ludes a copy of the club's constitution in 1945. The photographs were taken by club members Bud Craig, Byron Kelham, Franklin Kincaid, James W. Manning, Howard Miller, Jerry Phillips, and Derele Swails.
