Consists of photographic prints pertaining to Peoples Temple members, collected by clinical psychologist Margaret T. Singer during her work with Peoples Temple members in the aftermath of the deaths in Jonestown, Guyana in November 1978. Includes individual and group portraits, publicity photos and snapshots, including images of church services, recreational outings, protest demonstrations and press conferences. Contains promotional images of Jim Jones, images of Peoples Temple members in Jonestown and Georgetown, Guyana, and several hundred identification photos of Peoples Temple members and others who attended church services in California that were intended for use in passport applications. Includes a photo of Jim Jones affixed to a broken minute timer. Unidentified Peoples Temple members took the bulk of the photographs before the deaths in Jonestown, Guyana in November 1978.
