[Request for whiskey]. 1794, May 30 Letter.

A handwritten note, signed, from Clark, requesting a pint of whiskey for the Chickasaw Indians. Greenville [Ohio], 30 May 1794. Small hole in center, text unaffected. Some minor contemporary ink smudges. Also signed by John Mills, Legion's adjutant approving the request to the adjutant quartermaster. On verso, a note from James Donelson releasing the whisky.
