R.G. Morris letter, 1841 July 12.

In a letter written from Boston, Mass., by R. G. Morris to his cousin, W. R. Swift of Schaghticoke, N.Y., gives a detailed description of New Orleans streets, public buildings, private residences, drainage, and the Mississippi River. Morris had recently returned from New Orleans.
