A collection of documents relating primarily to the Franciscan order in America and comprising copies of the Constituciones of the Colegio, March 1, 1756, revised from the 1702 text; briefs of Pope Innocent XI, May 11 and October 16, 1686, concerning Franciscan seminaries in Spain and the Indies; life and miracles of Saint Theresa, based on the biography of Diego de Yepes; a circular letter from the Franciscan commissioner general for the Indies, transmitting a decree of the Propaganda Fide in Rome, January 26, 1778; pastoral letter of Pascual de Avaricio, August 19, 1768, written on the occasion of the commissioner general's election; and some pronouncements on morals and behavior.
