Papers of an Oregon attorney and son of Charles Erskine Scott Wood. Contains: "A pleasaunte and wittie worke that relateth howe six vagabonds did fare along the seashore and of the merry adventures they had withal, and of the strange customs of the peoples of those parts" (typescript, photocopy), 1909 August 16-28, concerning a trip to the Oregon coast with Kenneth Beebe, Becky and Margaret Biddle, Rodney L. Glisan, and others; "Diary of a fourteen-year-old boy's days with Chief Joseph" (photocopy of manuscript); and poem "Christmas, 1943" concerning a Christmas party at the home of Lee Hawley Hoffman and Caroline Couch Hoffman (typescript). Also includes: correspondence from Wood to John C. and Mura Adams; "Sonnet in memory of Charles N. Wonacott," 1962; "Sonnet sequence to Lad, an English setter"; "A rondeau on receiving a letter form Jack Adams on my 94th birthday," 1973; "Rondeau for my 95th birthday," 1974; and copy of "Remarks of Erskine Wood at dedication of Chief Joseph Dam," 1956 June 25.
