Sheet music collection, ca.1850-ca.1930.

A collection of sheet music, primarily from musical revues and musical plays of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Some of the pieces were issued as supplements to newspapers, but most were commercially published. Almost all the pieces have illustrated covers, sometimes including photographs of the person who sang the song. Often the cover illustration is suggested by the title of the song or the play, such as canaries on the song entitled "Canary Cottage."

17 boxes : ill. ; 35 cm. or smaller.
