Short biographical sketch in the handwriting of Alfred Bates; galley proof of a biography; notes for correction, presumably obtained from Henry Miller, in the handwriting of W.H. White.

Ezekial Thatcher was clerk of the Parkville School District, Shasta County, Calif. He emigrated to California from Pennsylvania in 1850 and helped establish the first school district in the Parkville area.
