Copies of editorial comment in the Tegucigalpa newspaper, La Paz, inspired by correspondence between President Marco Aurelio Soto of Honduras and José Milla, in which the former questioned the theory that Columbus landed in Honduras or any other part of the American mainland, followed by three letters of J. Carrera, Honduran consul in Madrid, on the same subject.

Ezekial Thatcher was clerk of the Parkville School District, Shasta County, Calif. He emigrated to California from Pennsylvania in 1850 and helped establish the first school district in the Parkville area. He is descended from the Thatchers of Uffington, England, the same family as Denis Thatcher, husband of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. From the description of H.H.
