Record book, 1687-1755.

Records of the First Church of Salisbury, Mass. kept by Caleb Cushing, the church's pastor from 1698-1751, with a few records presumably kept by his predecessor James Alling (pastor, 1687-96) and his successor Edmund Noyes (pastor, 1751-90). The small volume contains records of church meetings (sometimes intermittently) between 1688-1755; lists of persons admitted and baptisms (1687-95; 1698-1754); a chart of scriptures preached on; misc. financial notes; lists of sacraments administered; records of marriages between 1752-54; and other misc. religious notes. Records for the three ministers often overlap and are often not arranged chronologically.

1 small v. in a case.
