Letters to Thomas L. Carpenter, Andrew Gross, and others; with a letter from Henry M. Teller, president of the Colorado Central Railroad, 1872, together with circulars. A satirical broadside and other printed items reflect the debacle in which the Emma mine in Utah involved English investors. Johnson's letters were written while in London, speculating in stock from the Emma Silver Mine, Wastach Range, Utah.
