Legislative papers, personal correspondence, other papers, photographs, and recordings of Thomas Jackson White, Jr. The bulk of the collection relates to White's legislative career as a member of the State House of Representatives and the State Senate, as Legislative Counsel to Governor Robert W. Scott, as a member of the State Advisory Budget Commission and the State Legislative Building Governing Commission, and as a lobbyist for the Tobacco Tax Council. The remainder of papers consists of personal correspondence, and papers dealing with White's legal career, civic organizations to which he belonged, and North Carolina state politics.
