Lee Lawrie letters to Will Owen Jones [manuscript], 1925 Mar, May, and July.

Letter #1: 1925 Mar 3. Thanks Jones for asking "Doctor Condra to send me a copy of his 'Nebraska Beautiful.' Plans to send Jones an assortment of his photographs. Letter #2: 1925 Mar 5. Has "just received Doctor Condra's complimentary copy of his 'Nebraska Beautiful,'" and praises Jones' "article on the Capitol." Letter #3: 1925 May 4. Asks for "any advice, data, engravings, or old newspaper accounts" for the "panel for the series of the Development of the Law." Mr. Sheldon sent Lawrie "a list of names of members of the 1875 constitutional convention whose portraits might be used" in this panel. Letter #4: 1925 July 3. Lawrie sends " a copy of "The Nation,"which contains an article on Mr. Goodhue." He wonders "if you might like to re-print it if it impresses you as it does me." With the letter is a rotogravure photograph of Lawrie directing a stonecutter working on a "history of mankind in stone" for the Rockefeller Center."
