Thomas Blakeney oral history interview, 1992.

In the interview Blakeney describes his personal and educational background, his early interest in the military, and his involvement in ROTC while a student at Louisiana State University. He recounts his military assignments in the United States, Europe during WWII, and Vietnam in the 1960s. He relates his views on ROTC at LSU; the effects of Vietnam War protests on the program, and he offers recollections of Dean Arden French and Dean James Reddoch of LSU. Focus dates: 1930s-1969.
