Chris Colvin, USCG, containing detailed descriptions of his activities relating to Hurricane Katrina rescue operations including: Atlantic Area Command preparations for Hurricane Katrina; assisting in supplying the USCG Eighth District, New Orleans, La., with sixty additional aircraft and other operational assistance during post-Katrina; critical duties were to provide oversight and resources requested by the On-scene Commander; and succeeding on the operational level by providing the ability to flow USCG resources to the Gulf Coast.
