Miscellany of Henry Jodrell [manuscript], ca. 1780.

The entries are divided into two sections, beginning from each end: (1) extracts, both poetry and prose, from Milton, Cowley, Otway, S. Johnson, and others; (2) extracts from all of Shakespeare's plays except The tempest, Merry wives of Windsor, Titus Andronicus, Pericles. Each section is preceded by a list of authors extracted. The first list is subscribed (in the same hand as the extracts) "selected by Henry Jodrell."
