Caswell's correspondence with Teachers College faculty and administrators; educational organizations; other schools of education, and many others, relating to general college affairs both before and during his tenure as president. Some reports and studies, speeches, clippings, printed material, and miscellaneous documents are also included. Also, alphabetical files containing correspondence, resumeĢs, and their careers at the College. Of note are correspondence and reports, 1950s-1960s, relating to the Teachers College contract project with the United States Agency for International Development in Afghanistan, in which the College sent a team to assist the Afghan government with curriculum development and teacher education.
