A new deal for wild life.

Pictorial report ca. 1935 presenting a few phases of a program originated and directed by the Biological Survey Unit of the Iowa State Planning Board in cooperation with the Iowa Conservation Commission. The focus of the program was to protect quail and pheasants through the fall and winter of 1934-35 and beyond by planting waste land for cover and food. Fifty b&w photographs illustrate the report.
