The Richard F. Mann collection, 21st & 49th OVI, 1861-1931 (bulk 1861-1867).

Includes photocopies of Civil War letters written by the following members of the 49th Regiment Ohio Volunteers: Y Cole Walker (1863), Jacob W. Iler (n.d.), R.D. Kuhn (1862), Cyrus F. Leasher (1861-62), J.C. Ramsey (1862), James Welch (1861), David M. Wynn (1862-65), Shotwell Wilson (1862); diary, letters and clippings from William Stahl (1861-1931); and photocopies of miscellaneous information on the 49th Regiment including a list of killed and wounded near Atlanta, Georgia. Contains the photocopies of letters written by members of the 21st Ohio Infantry Regiment: S.S. Canfield (1861), G.M. Gand (1862-63), Guy Morgan (1861-62). Also contains a letter and essay by Daniel L. Sower entitled: ON LEAVING REBEL PRISONS (1867).
