Biographical sketches of five North Carolina Episcopal clergymen written by Hughes, a retired Episcopal clergyman living in Hendersonville, N.C., and three unrelated letters. Sketches are of Joseph Blount Cheshire (1850-1932); Nicholas Collin Hughes (1822-1893), who was the author's father; Nathaniel Harding (1847-1917); Robert Brent Drane (1851-1939); and Aaron Burtis Hunter (1854-1933).
