This collection contains a typescript history of the Knights of the Golden Circle entitled: "How the capture of Indianapolis by the Knights of the Golden Circle, Aug. 16, 1864, during the Civil War was prevented" dated 1924. Gives details of the Battle of Pogue's Run in which Robert Denny spoils the plan of the Knights to capture Indianapolis and release the prisoners at Camp Morton.
