Handwritten notes on Swedenborg. The first text is a "Preliminary Discourse, or letter from the Editor to Mr. N** , touching on the life of Eman. Swedenborg, his writings and their connection to the present." The writer then provides summaries of key ideas from Swedenborg's writings, organized by these headings: "On God," "On the Creation," "On Man during his life," "Of the spiritual world commonly called the other world," "On the space in Heaven," "On the form of Heaven," "On the language of Angels," "On the Government of Heaven," "On Heaven," "On time in Heaven," "On writing in Heaven," "On the World of Spirits," "Hell," "On the Language that the Angels speak to men," "On the different States of Man after death," "On the correspondence of Heaven with man and with all objects of Nature," "On the true Christian Religion," "On the Holy Trinity," "On the Lord Redempter," "On the Redemption," "On the Holy writing, or the word of the Lord," "On Faith," "On Charity and good works," "On Free will," "On Penitence," "On Imputation," "On baptism," "On the Holy Communion," " On the advent of the Lord, the new heaven and the new Church," "On the Church in General and in particular," "On Conscience," "On the order of divine Providence," "On the wisdom of Angels," "On the power of Angels in Heaven," "On the State of innocence of the Angels in Heaven," "On Peace in Heaven," "On the immensity of Heaven," "On the Wise and the Imbeciles in Heaven," "On Marriage in Heaven and celestial conjugal love," "On celestial happiness." These sections are punctuated by sections entitled 'Vision" which relate divine visions and encounters. It is not clear if this is a full copy of the printed "Abrégé des ouvrages."
