Volumes 1 and 3 of notebooks containing Reynolds's undated manuscript about his service in the 19th Mass. Volunteers during the Civil War from 1861-62. The account provides detailed descriptions of the formation of the regiment in 1861, departure from Boston, time spent at Harrison's Landing, evacuation, Pope's Virginia Campaign, the Battle of Chantilly, and the Battle of Antietam in which he was wounded.
