Robert B. Owens (1871-1953) was an Episcopal rector at churches in various North Carolina communitites. Owens was born in Cleveland, N.C., to Joseph F. Owens and Elizabeth Barber Owens. He was ordained deacon at St. Luke's in Salisbury, N.C., 1892, and priest in 1896. He later was a rector at St. Paul's in Iredell County, N.C., 1896-1897; St. Stephen's in Oxford, N.C., 1897-1903; Church of the Good Shepherd, Rocky Mount, N.C., 1906-1916; and Church of the Holy Comforter, Charlotte, N.C., 1916-19...
