Orlin Kenyon Fletcher (1873-1937) was born to Carlos E. and Mercelia Fletcher in Hinesburg, Vermont on July 20, 1873. He served in the Spanish American War. On December 4, 1904, he married Mary Louise Heckle in Augusta, Georgia. The couple had three children together: Mary, George, and Orlin Jr. Fletcher attended the Atlanta Dental College from 1905-1908, and he set up a dental practice in Augusta, Georgia.
