Edwin Seaver letter to Henry Sams, and reply, 1970.

The collection consists of two photocopied items: letter from Seaver to Sams, 6 July 1970, replying to a letter about Seaver's recollections of the American Writer's Congress of 1935, with some personal memories and observations comparing the political climate of the 1930s with the political climate of the 1960s; also, Sams reply to Seaver, 10 July 1970, adding his views to the points made in Seaver's letter, and mentioning the experiences of Kenneth Burke at the Congress.
