TLS. "As to Street, you see the hole I am in ... I have established the practice of charging the usual five guineas to amateurs, the definition of amateur being people who give away any profits to charities." He defines professionals as "all bodies of players ... who put their profits into the concern for its future development ... If there is to be any charity in the matter it should begin at the author's address: a sound principle with which you as an author will heartily agree."
