Eli Whitney letter and memorandum, 1799 March 12, New Haven, Conn. to John Adam, Canaan, Conn.

The letter covers several topics including measurements for the face of a trip hammer, a request to ship gudgeons, stakes, a husk and hammer via stage to Litchfield, and an appeal for skilled nailers to make light gun barrels.
