Three volumes of the Boston merchant firm Gray and Morse, and of its predecessor Gorham and Gray. Includes a cashbook of Gorham and Gray (1841-43), and of Gray and Morse (1843-45); a vol. of notes payable and receivable for both firms (1841-61); and an invoice book of William C. Gorham for sugar shipped to St. Petersburg (1835-39), with postage accounts (1842-43). The other principals of the firm were Frederic Gray and Samuel T. Morse.
