Beverly C. Daly (Major, U.S.A.), dean of men and professor of military science and tactics, was born in San Francisco in 1878. He enlisted in the Army in 1898, serving in the Philippines from 1899 to 1903 and 1905-1907. He retired from active military service in 1910 and began teaching at the University of Wyoming in 1911, becomming dean in 1932. He retired in 1946. From the description of Papers, 1899-1965.
