Thomas Prichard Rossiter papers, 1833-1834 [manuscript].

Three letters to Thomas P. Rossiter, Connecticut painter, each with a part written by Henry C. Rossiter, his father, and a part by Hester Henry, his stepsister, who recently had moved from New York State to a farm near Caldwell (presumably Greenville County), S.C. The letters discuss life in South Carolina and family matters.

Thomas Prichard Rossiter (1818-1871) was a painter. Rossiter studied in Connecticut and in Europe, eventually settling in New York. His father was Henry C.
