Stratospheric ozone collection, 1976-1997 and undated (bulk).

The collection contains materials on the science, negotiations, and national and international policy concerned with the protection of the stratospheric ozone layer. While a few materials date from as early as the mid-1960s, the bulk of the collection dates from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. The collection includes notes, reports, and conference room papers from national and international negotiating meetings; diplomatic cables, delegation reports, internal memos, and other correspondence of government and non-government participants in policy deliberations; educational and advocacy material produced by firms, industry associations, environmental groups, and other interested organizations; official scientific and technical assessment reports; and summareis of scientific briefings.
